Watching TV While Working Out
Yes, you should be using the exercise bike sitting in the corner gathering dust. And Yes, you are aware of all the beneficial fitness rewards you receive. And finally, you realize how much you paid for the dang thing in the first place. But jeez, it's just so boring to sit and pedal to go nowhere. Here's what you do. Set up in front of the TV, get DVD's of your favorite old TV shows - Andy Griffith, MASH, Cheers - that way you don't get pulled into a long movie. Pedal your used exercise bike for a half hour or so, and be on your way to great fitness, both in body and spirit!
