I’ve been wondering lately if I shouldn’t look into dental assistant careers. It would be a good way to get some references for dental school down the line. I’m not quite ready to go back to school full time yet.
In particular, I’ve been thinking about Dental Assistant Training. Overall prospects for the career look OK right now - there seems to be a shortage of good people, so getting a job should be doable.
I’m really hoping I can find a way to make a change. This one may not be the best bet, but it’s worth looking into at least.

My job stinks. I’ve been thinking of making a change - something that won’t require too much school, but is a cut above bartending. I was told to check out dental office assistant careers. I suppose dealing with bad breath and fillings beats getting groped by drunks.
In particular, I’ve been thinking about The Dental Assistant Association. Overall prospects for the career look OK right now - there seems to be a shortage of good people, so getting a job should be doable.
I’m anxious to make a change, but I need to know more before I can commit to getting the training and making the switch.

The painful condition where the contents of the stomach want to flow back the way they came to cause heartburn is something we may all have experienced in our lives: it is called acid reflux. They say that varicose and spider veins can be passed on genetically. They are usually caused by the valves in the veins getting weaker as we age. Basically, up to half of the American population is affected with vein problems. I am very nervous about the possibility of getting these ugly blue bulging veins in my legs later in life. My grandmother had terrible legs as she grew older. She had to wear support stockings for varicose veins everyday and had quite a bit of pain. I had to give her lots of credit for her will to stay mobile even when battling swollen, painful veins and arthritis. I just hope that I don’t get them, too!
