Contact lenses are by no means a new idea, but they have made significant progress in the time that they have been available to the general public. Not only have they reduced in price but the range available means that almost anyone can get presription contact lenses whatever their condition may be. This now includes people requiring astigmatism contact lenses. This is a very common condition but when contacts first arrived on the market people with astigmatism were unable to wear them and had to stick to conventional glasses.
