Side Effects of Colorectal Cancer Chemotherapy
There are various side effects of colorectal cancer chemotherapy. Unfortunately, most of these side effects need to be endured, in order for the full treatment to take affect. This is important, as colorectal cancer can lead to metastasis (spreading of the cancer or the tumor to surrounding regions). In this instance, the situation can get worse, so you need to make sure that you go through with your colorectal cancer chemotherapy. However, some side effects that you need to expect are hair loss, fatigue, mouth sores, loss of appetite, vomiting, nausea and easy bruising, along with easy bleeding due to low white blood cell count.
