I have just heard that one of my favorite uncles was in an accident and has been diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury. What can be done for someone with this type of injury? What kind of treatment is usually used, and what are the chances that they will have 100% recovery? I am worried that he will end up with a lot of brain damage and not able to care for himself. I wouldn’t want this to happen to him, though I suppose all I can do now is hope that the treatment works out and he gets better.
