What Does Prostate Gland Research Show?
Enlarged prostate gland research shows that both medications, namely alpha-blockers as well as 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors are very effective in treating BPH patients with urinary symptoms. Although, there are other herbal remedies available, their efficiency remains to be proven. These include saw palmetto, rye grass pollen extract and beta-sitosterol plant extracts.
Enlarged prostate gland research indicates that medical treatments are comparatively better than surgeries, since there may be possibility of other complications due to surgery. One very common complication that arises out of a surgery is retrograde ejaculation, wherein the sperm instead of being ejaculated through the penis, it enters the bladder.
