The Polar equine heart rate monitor in the RS800CX model is designed for horses that are in intensive training for horse races. Not only does this monitor accurately monitor your horse’s heart rate, it will also record and store all of the data from the horse’s training so you are able to go over the data to see if your horse can improve on its training and it what area it needs improvement in. This monitor also comes equipped with a transmitter that blocks any interference from other horses wearing monitors themselves so you can always be sure you are getting the most reliable heart rate reading for your horse. The RX800CX model also has a built-in GPS mapping feature that carefully monitors the horse’s heart rate at different levels of speed and training as well as at resting periods, exercise and cool down. By monitoring this, the trainer will have a better understanding of how well your horse is handling the training and if any stress is shown on the horse at particular times.
