im vegetarian…important keys to nutrition?i have no specific keys anyway,except keeping yourself fuelled well all day long by regulating blood sugar levels…i dont trust supplements
I take a multi vitamin, to make sure all my needs are covered
I take whey protein as an extra source of essential amino acids and protion
I take creatine so i get more from my work outs.
My diet currently consists of
Meal 1
3 scrambled egg whites, 1 yolk on brown bread, no butter
Meal 2
Carrot sticks, a kiwi fruit and mixed beans.
Meal 3
A spinich and brocoli salad, with tuna/salmon, chick and beans
Meal 4
A banna smoothie with low fat milk, a banana, 2 egg whites and 2 scoups of whey protein
Meal 5
1/2 a cup of brown rice, with 4oz of chicken breast/salmon grilled, and mushrooms with a vetable sauce
Meal 6
Varies, mainly a couple of pieces of brolcoli and a can of fat free tuna
The most important keys are, staying away from refined carbs, like sugar and shite bread and rice, and saturated fats.
Also, to eat a ballanced diet, and not to exceed your calorie expenditure unless your trying to gain weight or build muscle, and exercise regulally.
