Hospital Costs of Vasectomy Reversals
The most serious costs associated with a vasectomy reversal relates to the time spent in the hospital. There are cases where the individual was in perfect health, and able to leave the hospital in a few short hours. Those that are in poorer health may have to stay over night for observation. There are also cases where the individual experiences excessive bleeding, an infection, or another serious complication due to the surgery. This can result in a situation where the man needs to stay in the hospital for several days.
