What Are The Risk Factors For Back Pain?
Any skeletal irregularities, such as a curve in your spine in an abnormal way can cause major back pain. Scoliosis is a condition in which your spin curves over to one side, and it may cause severe back pain. Compression fractures of your spine’s vertebrae, also known as osteoporosis, can occur if the bones become brittle and porous, and this may also cause back pain. There are many risk factors that could increase your chances of developing lower back pain. They include obesity, older age, a history of smoking, anxiety or depression, a stressful job, or a physically demanding job.
