Embryonic stem cell research gives hope to those waiting for a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.  The problem is that there are all sorts of groups that are against the harvesting of embryonic stem cells when they can get stem cells from other areas such as cord blood. This is why it is so important to save your cord blood or at least donate it for storage so that others needing it could use it if necessary. Further, if you save your own cord blood stem cells Parkinson’s could be eradicated should you find that you have been diagnosed with it just because they’ve done the research through the years.
